Pending Orders are orders that have not received successful payment authorization, therefore stay at Pending Status - 2, rather than moving to Paid Status - 3. Pending Orders do not get calculated in the earnings/commission calculation.
It is important that a team member review Pending Orders at least once a week. This allows you, the company, to be aware of who had a payment issue during the period. You are then to decide if you will attempt the payment again through Admin and/or contact the member (by email or telephone) to determine if a new payment method is needed, or if the order should be cancelled. Notifications can be used to send an email for declined payment of an autoship/recurring order and/or if the pending order has been cancelled.
To retrieve or view a list/report of Pending Orders, you will click on the Reporting section under Admin Options, located on the left-hand side of page.
Once in Reporting, you will see Order Query, on the right-hand side of the page. You will click to expand.
Once expanded, you will click on Unpaid Orders (Pending).
Once on the Pending Orders page, you will be shown areas for selection to view the orders and information you are wanting.
The first selection option section is a predetermined date range; Today, Yesterday, Current Month, Within Last 7 Days, Within Last 14 Days, or Last Month.
The second selection option section allows for Beginning Date to be selected and Ending Date to be selected.
You will only use one of these sections; either Recent Option or Date Range.
By Order Source is generally no longer used, but if present, is client specific and further information will be provided on a as needed basis.
By Payment Type, allows for specific selection based on the payment types you provide. If none are selected, all payment types will be returned on the report.
Under Report Options, you have three report style options: Report Pages, Full Report with Totals, or Tab Delimited File.
Report Detail allows you to select an Abbreviated or Detailed option.
Order Lines Available allows you to choose if you would like to see the Order Line information. This is the Item code, item name, quantity on the order, and the item sales price. If multiple items are on an order, you will see the order number multiple times with the corresponding line number information. This option can be selected for any Report Option and Detail selection.
Choose Columns on Report allows for you to view additional information you may need to create a custom report.
Auto Add Filtered Columns is default and includes pre-selected columns and information to display. This is used most often by many clients.
You will click View Report after you have made your selections.
Here are examples of what is returned using each selection with Auto-Add Filtered Columns:
Selecting Tab-Delimited File, will require that you name your file for the ability to Download.
